Daily Action
Day 1:
I have to arrange my priorities as a leader, I must think of 6 areas of practices with those around me, first I must define a strategic direction to follow, then I seek to build good relations between me and colleagues, then ensure the performance of the responsibilities that fall on each of us, and convince colleagues that development It is a continuous and necessary matter, and it is inherent to a person until the last day of his life. I have to lead the group in line with the main goal of the institution and work towards achieving better learning for students.
Day 2:
1- I see that I am a person who makes hasty decisions, and I am always afraid of change or moving to another stage, and I try to change this thing in my personality. I must be patient and think a lot before implementing or making a decision, and I must be patient when any reactions to the decision occur. Which I take because I quickly regret it.
I have to be more powerful and strive to implement my decisions wisely without harming others, and with the least loss.
2- As a fair teacher, I have to evaluate students' performance based on their individual developments during the academic year or two consecutive years, not based on comparing their results with the results of their colleagues in exams.
Day 3:
Today I learned something important and it is related to the Eisenhower Matrix.
I learned something that made me realize some of the mistakes I was making, and based on what I learned:
I will be a ist person , I will write down all the tasks that are required of me, and arrange them according to their priorities, I will put the important and urgent at the top of the list, then the urgent, then the important, and finally the non-urgent and the unimportant, I will schedule some tasks that are not important, because I can do them later When my circumstances allow for its performance.
I will also think about how to be fair in the decision that I will make, I must think of everyone, and think about the impact of this decision.
I have to involve others with me in making the decision before I make this decision and implement it.
Day 4:
Starting today, I will look at any problem I encounter in the school from a different perspective, other than the one through which I looked previously. The problems that we face on a daily basis in the school must search for their roots, by asking (why?) For example, the problem of librarians (one works And she bears all the pressures and tasks on her shoulders, and the other librarian browses her phone and follows developments on social networking sites) I had to ask myself (why is this happening?) in order to get to the root of the problem. I think this will help us solve these problems, or at least solve most of them.
Day 5:
After attending today's lesson, I pledged to myself that I would study the problem facing me from several directions. My decision or point of view may be correct, and the person in front of me may also be right in his point of view.
We have to think about justice and mercy.
We try to get to the root of the problem, why did the manager act like this, why did my colleague do this, what prompted him to do that, or make this decision, and I will work to solve the problem with the least damage.
Day 6:
As a leader currently or in the future, I will work on planning a complete matrix for decision-making, to be referred to in the event of any crisis or problem, and I must inform the entire work team about it.
This matrix will help us determine the appropriate action and apply it with the appropriate situation.
This matrix must be agreed upon among members of the school community and approved by the administration to be the primary reference for all immediately after crises occur.
I will also be patient in taking any action or decision regarding the crisis currently occurring in the school. The work team and I must study all the aspects of the problem and study the decision that we will implement, and decide together what message will be sent to parents if that is necessary, because we We deal with different segments of society and we must be aware of every word written in communications with parents.
I will adhere to complete confidentiality in dealing with problems, I must listen to the different opinions of the work team that I work with, and choose the best options for my decision to be strong and correct.
